As I stepped off the plane at Brisbane Airport, I was greeted by the crisp, smoky air of Brisbane city. It provided a welcome respite from the confines of the airplane cabin. Waste no time, I swiftly gathered my belongings and embarked on the “Freeway” towards Goldcoast. After a short drive beyond Surfers Paradise, the bustling heart of Goldcoast, I paused to indulge in a delectable serving of takeaway fish and chips by the seaside.
